I’m a 3^rd generation entrepreneur, and truly a junkie for all things entrepreneurial. There’s something fascinating about every business and certainly about every business owner. I just love getting to the heart of each entrepreneur’s dream, his reason for starting the business, his passion for what he’s invented, and the lifestyle he wants to create for himself and his family.

For the first 20 years of my career I worked on Wall Street, in just about every facet. I started in retail brokerage, became an equity analyst, then an investment banker, and finally a manager of two small private investment funds. I ‘ve written business plans, raised investment capital to fund start-ups and growth businesses, sat on boards of directors, and been an advisor to literally hundreds of small companies. I started my first business in 2004, a real estate staging company, with a partner. We were a pioneer in that field in our area, and were one of the leading providers of property enhancement services in NYC and Westchester and Fairfield counties. When the real estate market collapsed in 2008/2009, I decided to return to my “roots” in the small business community, and was thrilled to discover Silver Lining. The SLAP is the tool I never had in my staging business, an affordable solution to building a business while running a business.

When I’m not talking to business owners, you can find me in the garden, dirt under my nails and in my hair. Or in the kitchen cooking. Or on the slopes skiing. Or playing with my kids. Word games like Scrabble and Boggle can keep me entertained for hours. And I love to entertain at home. The more the merrier.
